Spring Floral Arrangements

 Spring Floral Arrangements

Each season I change out and update my mom’s front porch with new floral arrangements for the season.  She’s easy to please and never complains about what I make.

Colorful, vibrant and beautiful artificial floral arrangements for her to enjoy throughout the spring and summer months.

Happy Crafting!!!!

Twisted Headband

Twisted Headband

I crocheted  these two colorful Twisted Headbands for my newest granddaughter who’s almost 8 months old.  She looks so adorable doning each of of them.

I used RHSS yarn and a 6.0mm hook.  I started with 40 FHDC and then just worked rows of 40 HDC stitches until I had my desired width.  Once I completed the last row, I left a long tail for joining the two short ends together.

As you can see in the picture below, I joined the short ends together, in a twist, and whipstitched together.  Then secured with a double knot and weaved the end of the tail.

Hello!!!

Good afternoon, everyone.  I know I haven’t posted anything new lately.  I’ve had a lot going on with my health and had to undergo a couple procedures this past month.

I have a stack of new patterns to add to my blog when I get a chance to type them up.  I love the design part; not to enthusiastic about the typing up part. I’d have someone help me but understanding my shorthand would be too difficult for someone. Lol.

As we approach springtime, I hope each and every one of you have a wonderful and blessed time.

Happy Crocheting & Crafting!!!!

Happy New Year!!!!!

This new year has been with difficulties.  I can’t seem to get well.  I have spent most of January bed bound.  I hope to soon get back to crocheting and crafting.  These are two of my great passions   Right now, physically I’m not able to do anything

I ask for prayers.  If you have a personal relationship with God, then please call out my name for healing.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!!

Hi guys!!!! I kno  I have been a little MIA lately. I apologize. I’ve designed several new blankets, quilted about 5 and made all the Dollar Tree DIY’s for my camper, my mom’s house, my mother-in-law’s house and a friend’s place.

I have lots of new ideas to share in crocheting and crafting.  I have a stack of written patterns that need to be tested. I write shorthand so no one understands my handwriting so this is something I have to take the time to do.

During all this, I’ve had a lot of changes, trying to improve my health and lost 60 pounds. BUT, the new year is near and I’m very optimistic and thrilled to share lots of new projects.

Until then,

Happy Crocheting & Crafting

The above is my absolute favorite….

I have been busy making Christmas floral decorations for my home, as well as, for my mom..

But, here are the ones for my mom….

And, here’s the decor for my mom-in-law…

So, in addition to this I have completed a Christmas crocheted blanket and currently working on a NY Yankee inspired blanket.

Happy Crafting and Crocheting during this busy season.
